It was a friendship not that unique, not that unusual.
Plain and casual.
But along the way a gradual change has occurred
Both failed to hear what was not said.
But they came along just fine.
Not knowing they are denying the idea of a dream
It’s a choice.
Agreed to accept what cannot be accomplished.
Though distance is their constant companion
Again, they came along just fine
Recognition of the unseen effort
Stare not longer than a second
It is neither fate nor their choice
It was their struggle
A struggle people failed to understand
But seeing what lies beyond
Both continued to acknowledge the beauty their friendship brings
Even if it leads them to nowhere.

And there I was unsuspectedly watching Comedy Central Inc. while one of 2nd Ave's commercial appeared. "Concertus Presents Paul Potts" 'LIVE in Manila" then a clip of him at the Audition of Britain's Got Talent started playing. I was more than owed,I was blown away. Who is this man? why can he sing Opera? He is actually a Mobile Phone Salesman? these are some of the few questions that suddely bedazzled me. Then right after that first encounter I quickly surf the net and see if I could find any related videos or blogs on his performance at BGT and there it was at youtube, viewed more than 34.6 million times. I'm not sure but there's definitely something about him, about his story ,about the song and the way he sang it that makes it more heartfelt and genuine and it effortlessly transcend to whoever was watching it. I've never really liked Opera but after hearing Paul Potts' version of Nessun Dorma it felt like, for the very first time, I've become human.
